Our on-site inspection generally takes two to three hours and home buyers are always encouraged to be present during the inspections . Our reports are then much easier to understand and the buyer has confidence in the report because they know how the inspection was performed.

The purpose of our inspections is not to encourage the purchase of the inspected property, but to make the buyers much more aware of the present physical condition of the building they are interested in purchasing. An informed buyer is usually an intelligent buyer.

An important part of the inspection process to Carter Inspection Associates is to educate the home buyer concerning certain maintenance such as oiling the blower motor and changing furnace filters, etc. We also make sure the home buyer is aware of the utility disconnects so that if an emergency were to occur, the home owner can shut off the gas, water and the electrical service to the home. Such knowledge can potentially save extensive property damage and someone's life.
